Parc Astronòmic del Montsec
The Parc Astronòmic del Montsec (PAM) uses the Montsec area to carry out research, formation, and disclosure of astronomy. It has some unique characteristics: the best sky in Catalonia, nights without clouds, little rain, and low light pollution. It is formed by the Observatori Astronòmic del Montsec (OadM) and the Centre d’Observació de l’Univers (COU).
The COU is a benchmark in the teaching and disclosure of astronomy and space sciences. It is a link between the public and scientific knowledge, bringing the visitor closer to the world of science and the discovery of the environment of Montsec.
