From the 2nd century. A vestige that testifies to an intense Romanization of Àger and the valley as a whole.
Wall of the town
Construction dating from the 11th century.
In the middle ages, Àger was established as a medieval walled fortification to control the Valley and under the protection of Arnau Mir de Tost, appointed knight and lord of the town by the Count of Urgell.
