ÀGER CELEBRATES EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS 2025 WITH CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

From 10 to 12 October 2025, Àger will once again take part in the European Heritage Days, an initiative held throughout Catalonia that invites everyone to discover and enjoy our cultural heritage through free activities open to all.

Open doors at the Collegiate Church of Sant Pere d’Àger

On Saturday, 11 October 2025, from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm, the monumental complex of the Collegiate Church of Sant Pere d’Àger will open its doors to showcase its historical and architectural richness.
This Romanesque and Gothic complex, built between the 11th and 16th centuries, allows visitors to delve into the history of our medieval ancestors and better understand the evolution of the Noguera region.

Dry stone workshop

That same 11 October 2025, from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm, a dry stone workshop will be held, led by master builder Francesc Xavier Solé.
During the activity, participants will help repair a wall and learn firsthand about this traditional construction technique, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
The activity is free of charge, but places are limited and prior registration is required by sending a message via WhatsApp to +34 647 284 137.
