Àger shines again with the 3rd edition of the International Film Festival (FICdÀ), October 3–5, 2025
From 3 to 5 October 2025, Àger will once again host a unique event: the Àger International Film Festival (FICdÀ). A weekend that combines the best of small-format cinema with the magic of an incomparable setting: the Collegiate Church of Sant Pere, in the heart of Montsec.
The FICdÀ is committed to new directors in the film industry and to quality cinema that deals with issues relevant to society, and aims to become a space for supporting new talent.
The public will be able to enjoy screenings of selected short films from around the world, talks with directors and creative teams, live music, community dinners and activities for all ages. There will be 14 short films in competition: 12 fiction films and 2 documentaries, selected for their quality and thematic diversity. The works deal with topics such as addiction, mental health, abuse, loneliness, grief and biodiversity.
FICdÀ is not just a film festival, it is a cultural and social experience that brings together cinema, heritage and nature in a privileged setting.
The @Ajuntament_Ager and @SilendumFilms are working to continue bringing quality international arthouse cinema to the public.
