On Saturday, August 9 at 10:00 PM, the Church of Sant Vicenç in Àger will host an organ concert as part of the 45th cycle “Els orgues de Catalunya”, organized by the Catalan Association of the Organ.
The recital will feature the renowned organist Jordi Vergés, who will perform a selection of works that will bring the historic organ of Sant Vicenç to life in an unforgettable setting. The concert is part of the cultural program “Music Under the Stars”, which combines heritage, music and nature in the heart of the Montsec mountains.
After the concert, attendees will have the chance to get to know the organ up close through an introductory presentation.
The event is free and open to all audiences, with the support of Ajuntament d’Àger, the Parroquias of Vall d’Àger, the Institut Estudis Ilerdencs, the Diputació de Lleida, the Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
